This morning we wrapped up 'Leading for Life' 2007 with the last two sessions. For session nine, Charlie Hadjiev spoke on God's power being different than the power of this world. He taught from the life of Elijah, and reminded us that God's power is experienced in our weakness and most brilliantly seen in transformed lives.

Igors Rautmanis from Latvia, shared from his own life about how deep suffering and opposition can affect a leader. He urged delegates to be in community with each other: "Take the initiative to share your struggles with other leaders because they are often experiencing the same things you are," said Igors. "Also, study the promises of God, even when you don't feel like it. When difficult times come, you'll find hope in the truths you've stored in your heart and mind."

Jason Lane led the final session, "Leading with the End in Sight." He explained the importance of leaders keeping watch over their vision, pace, growth and people in their lives. Delegates were challenged to lead focussed lives aimed at long term mission where they are. The conference ended with prayer for each other and vibrant worship.
