Leading for Life 2008.
26-28 August. Berlin, Germany

In August 2008, 90 young mission-focused leaders from 15 countries across Europe and Eurasia gathered in Berlin for Innovista’s third Leading for Life event.

Aged between 19 and 35, the conference participants were all involved in leadership roles in their churches, communities and ministries. Some were full-time paid youth, student or church workers from a range of organisations and denominations. Others combined regular day jobs – where they sought to bring kingdom transformation to their workplaces – with leadership roles in church-based ministries.

Here are the responses of some Leading for Life participants:
"I value Leading for Life because it is not leadership lessons in a vacuum. When I'm in the day-to-day realities of leadership, I can fill up my time with useful stuff that sucks my headspace. I have to battle for time to evaluate and focus on the bigger picture so that I don’t miss what’s happening. Leading for Life gives young leaders like me the opportunity to look up, look back, make strategic decisions, and get back to dreaming."

"It’s been a fantastic conference [… ] encouraging, stretching, thoughtful, practical, Biblical, varied, and exciting."

"Leading for Life has been an oasis for me – recharging, freeing and re-inspiring me."
